    Propose a deal with a title, teaser, terms, and optional staff instructions. We review it, then it goes live for members.

    Members redeem on their phones

    Nothing to install, nothing to scan. When a member is ready, they show you a live coupon on their phone and you honor it like any coupon.

    Track activity

    Your redemptions page shows how many coupons were redeemed and any issues members reported.

How do I get on Try Guide?
We build listings for local 2SLGBTIA+ owned and affirming businesses and invite owners to claim them by email. No listing yet? Contact us and we will create one.
How do I create a deal?
In the portal, go to Deals and propose one. Add a title, a short teaser, the terms, and optional staff instructions. We review every deal before it goes live.
What are “staff instructions”?
An optional private note shown to the member on their live coupon screen when they redeem, for example “let the cashier know to apply the Pride discount.” It is separate from the public terms, and if you leave it blank we show the terms instead.
Do I need an app or a scanner at the counter?
No. Members reveal and redeem entirely on their own phones. Your staff do not need a device, an account, or to scan anything. When a member is ready, they show you a live coupon screen and you apply the deal.
How do I know a coupon is valid?
The member shows you a live screen with a ticking clock and a live label. Each coupon is single use and is marked used the moment they confirm.
What does the redemptions page show?
A read-only summary: how many coupons were redeemed and any problems members reported, with a reason and an optional note. Nothing to approve or scan there.
A member reported a problem. Where do I see it?
On your redemptions page, with the reason they chose (for example “staff unaware” or “store closed”).
Who can use my deals?
Try Club members, people who make the annual donation to WERQ Together. Offering deals helps fund our work and brings members through your door.
Can I manage more than one business?
Yes. If you are linked to more than one, a switcher appears in the portal so you can pick which one you are working on.
How long does a deal run?
You choose when you create it: up to a year with a start and end date, or ongoing, which renews each year so members can redeem it again about a year after their last use.
